रिश्तों को तार-तार करने का एक मामला अमृतसर ग्रामीण जिला के अजनाला कस्बे से सामने आया है। बीजेपी के स्थानीय कार्यकर्ता अशोक तनेजा पर उसकी 20 वर्षीय बेटी ने ही बलात्कार करने का इल्जाम लगाया है।
कुछ दिन पहले मुंबई में ही सामने आए ऐसे मामले के टीवी में आने से इस युवती में शिकायत की हिम्मत बंधी और उसने मां को इस बारे में बताया। बेटी का कहना था कि उसका पिता लगातार सात-आठ साल से उसके साथ हैवानियत का खेल खेल रहा था। पुलिस ने धारा 376 के तहत केस दर्ज कर आरोपी नेता को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
गौरतलब है कि कुछ दिन पहले मुंबई में भी एक ऐसा मामला सामने आया था। इसमें एक पिता ने तांत्रिक के कहने पर अपनी बेटी के साथ कई साल तक बलात्कार किया था। बाद में उस तांत्रिक ने छोटी बेटी के साथ ऐसा करने की कोशिश की तो बड़ी बेटी ने उसकी पोल खोल दी। इस मामले में तांत्रिक और मां-बाप को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था।
इसी खबर से प्रेरित होकर अशोक तनेजा की बेटी ने हिम्मत जुटाई और अपनी मां से रेप की बात बता दी।

Ashok Taneja, the general secretary of the Ajnala unit of the BJP, was arrested after his daughter, a college student, filed a complaint, said police officials in the border town, 30 km from here.
60-year-old man held for raping daughter over nine years
Senior superintendent of police (Rural) Gurmeet Chauhan said: "We have detained Taneja and are questioning him."
Amritsar Superintendent of Police (Rural) Satpal Joshi said a case of rape had been registered against the accused, who has been "arrested".
An investigating officer said: "She (the daughter) mustered courage to tell her relatives about her sexual exploitation after seeing a similar case being reported from Mumbai a few days back. They helped her complain to the police."
Taneja had threatened to kill her if she told anyone in the family or outside about his illegal activities.
Rapist father says he is contemplating suicide
Police officials said that they would further investigate the matter, especially whether it was in the knowledge of other family members, including the girl's mother.
Last week, the Mumbai police arrested a 49-year-old businessman who allegedly raped his daughter for over nine years on the advice of a black magic practitioner to get "rich quickly".
