नई दिल्लीः महरौली ब्लास्ट में घायल एक और युवक की मौत हो गई है। इश्तियाक नाम के इस लड़के का रॉमा सेंटर में इलाज चल रहा था। सेंटर के हेड डॉ. एम. सी. मिश्रा ने बताया कि इश्तियाक के सिर और पेट में गंभीर चोटें आई थीं। उसकी किडनी भी प्रभावित हो गई थी। इसलिए पहले दिन से ही वह वेंटिलेटर पर था। उसका ऑपरेशन किया गया था, मगर उसकी जान नहीं बचाई जा सकी। इश्तियाक ने रविवार सुबह 8 बजे आखिरी सांस ली। इसे मिलाकर महरौली ब्लास्ट में मरने वालों की तादाद अब तीन हो गई है।
गौरतलब है कि इश्तियाक एमबीए का स्टूडंट था और यहां वह अपने दो अन्य क्लासमेट्स के साथ किराए के घर में रहता था। जिस दिन ब्लास्ट हुआ उस दिन तीनों दोस्त महरौली में लगने वाले वीकली फर्नीचर मार्किट में स्टडी टेबल और कुर्सियां खरीदने गए थे। आतंकवादी जब मौत का सामान सड़क पर फेंककर जा रहे थे और पीछे संतोष नाम का नौ साल का बच्चा पैकिट हाथ में लिए उन्हें बुला रहा था, तब इश्तियाक और उसके दोस्तों ने भी पैकिट से धुआं निकलते देखा था और शक होने पर वहां से भागने की कोशिश की, मगर सिर पर टेबल होने की वजह से इश्तियाक तेजी से नहीं भाग सका और ब्लास्ट की चपेट में आ गया। हालांकि उसके दोनों दोस्तों को भी हल्की-फुल्की चोटें आई थीं। फिलहाल एम्स में महरौली ब्लास्ट के 12 घायलों का इलाज चल रहा है।

His son Ishtiaq Ansari, a first-year MBA student who had suffered serious head injuries in the Mehrauli blast, died on early Sunday morning.
A small-time businessman in Sonadi near Ghazipur in UP, Ahmed said that with Ishtiaq's death the family's dream for a better future had been shattered. "Of my two sons, he was good at studies and wanted to study further. When he got admission in MBA, he said it was just a matter of two years before things change for better for the family,'' said Ahmed.
After battling for life for nearly 10 days, Ishtiaq succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. "His condition was deteriorating with each passing day. He was on life support system from day one and we had operated on him for head injury. But his prognosis was very poor. He was healthy and that's why he could pull through for so many days,'' says Dr M C Misra, chief of AIIMS Trauma Centre. Just three days back on Eid, the family had prayed for his early recovery.
“We have been staying in Trauma Centre for the past seven days. We prayed for him.
Since he was brought to AIIMS, Ishtiaq's college friends and professors were camping there. Ishtiaq's professors remembered him as a diligent student who was always curious to learn more and overcome his shortcomings.
