तालिबान ने स्वात में पाकिस्तानी सरकारी अधिकारी को अगवा किया - फरवरी 23, 2009

स्वात में तालिबान के कमांडर मौलाना फजलुल्लाह ने अपने गैरकानूनी एफएम स्टेशन से प्रसारण के दौरान कहा, सुना है कि सरकार ने एक स्थायी संघर्ष विराम की घोषणा की है, लेकिन हमने पहले ही 10 दिन के संघर्ष विराम की घोषणा की है और इसके समाप्त होने के बाद हम इसके विस्तार पर विचार करेंगे। मालाकंद डिवीजन के आयुक्त सैयद मोहम्मद जावेद ने शनिवार को कहा था कि तालिबान संघर्ष विराम के लिए राजी हो गया है।

इस बीच मिंगोरा से मिली खबरों के मुताबिक तालिबान ने सरकारी अधिकारी खुशाल खान को उनके छह गार्डों सहित अगवा कर लिया। मलाकांद के कमिश्नर सैयद मोहम्मद जावेद ने यह जानकारी दी।

तालिबान प्रवक्ता ने अगवा किए जाने की घटना की परोक्ष रूप में पुष्टि करते हुए कहा कि 'वह हमारे मेहमान हैं। हमें उनसे कुछ बात करनी है। हम उन्हें चाय पिलाएंगे और फिर आजाद कर देंगे।'

Pakistani authorities freed two Taliban fighters in exchange for an official kidnapped in Swat valley, where the government is seeking peace by offering to allow Islamic sharia law, a militant spokesman said.

"We have released the official and his six guards in exchange for our two colleagues," Muslim Khan, a spokesman for the Taliban told Reuters late on Sunday.

Syed Mohammad Jawed, commissioner for the Malakand division which includes Swat, confirmed the official and his guards had been freed but refused to comment on any swap.

Taliban fighters kidnapped the official on Sunday, after two of their comrades had been arrested in Peshawar, the capital of North West Frontier Province, a day earlier.

The Taliban complained that the arrests had violated their conditions for ordering a 10-day ceasefire in Swat on Feb. 15.

The government has backed a deal with radical cleric Maulana Sufi Mohammad to restore Islamic law to Swat and neighbouring regions if he could persuade the Taliban to give up fighting.

A senior government official said on Saturday Taliban fighters and Pakistani officials had agreed to a "permanent ceasefire" in Swat.

But Taliban commander Maulana Fazlullah, who is Sufi Mohammad's son-in-law, said there would be a decision announced once the current temporary ceasefire expires in the middle of this week.

Around 1,200 people have been killed and 250,000 to 500,000 have fled Swat valley since violence erupted in mid-2007.

इंडियन मुजाहिदीन के मीडिया हेड मंसूर पीरभाई ने सरकारी गवाह बनने की अपनी अर्जी वापस ले ली। ऐसा पुलिस के उस बयान के बाद किया गया जिसमें कहा गया था कि उसे सरकारी गवाहों की जरूरत नहीं है। आज इस मामले में विशेष मकोका अदालत ने आतंकवादी संगठन इंडियन मुजाहिदीन (आईएम) के आरोपियों की न्यायिक हिरासत 25 मार्च तक बढ़ा दी है। मंगलवार को मुंबई पुलिस ने देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में बम विस्फोट की साजिश रचने के आरोपी आईएम के 21 सदस्यों के खिलाफ चार्जशीट दाखिल की। पुलिस का यह भी आरोप है कि आईएम के संस्थापक रियाज भटकल और उसके भाई इकबाल ने इन आरोपियों को पाकिस्तान में ट्रेनिंग दी थी।

मुंबई क्राइम ब्रांच ने 1800 पन्नों के अपने आरोपपत्र में सभी आरोपियों पर आईपीसी, आर्म्स ऐक्ट, अवैध गतिविधियां (उन्मूलन) अधिनियम और आईटी ऐक्ट के विभिन्न प्रावधानों को लगाया गया है। क्राइम ब्रांच ने दिल्ली, अहमदाबाद और सूरत विस्फोटों के सिलसिले में पिछले साल पांच आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया था। ये पांचों उत्तर प्रदेश के आजमगढ़ के रहने वाले हैं।

चार्जशीट के मुताबिक भटकल गिरफ्तार आरोपियों को दुबई और बांग्लादेश होते हुए पाकिस्तान ले गया। वहां से लौटने के बाद आरोपी इंडियन मुजाहिदीन के बैनर तले आतंकवादी गतिविधियों को अंजाम देने लगे। इसके लिए उन्हें भटकल भाइयों और आमिर रजा के निर्देश के मिलते थे।

इनमें से एक आरोपी मंसूर पीरभाई ने दिल्ली और अहमदाबाद विस्फोटों से कुछ मिनट पहले मीडिया को ईमेल भेजे थे। इनके लिए असुरक्षित वायरलैस अकाउंटों को हैक किया गया था। ईमेल्स में धामिर्क भावनाओं को भड़काने वाली बातें और देश के खिलाफ जंग छेड़ने का ऐलान किया गया था।

English Translation:

The Mumbai Police Tuesday filed an 1,800-page chargesheet against 21 members of the Islamic terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM), who engineered blasts across the country since 2005, media reports said.

The chargesheet was filed before a special Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (Mcoca) Court in connection with the execution of the bomb blasts in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Surat.

The accused have been charged under the stringent Mcoca and various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) among which are waging a war against the country, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Explosives Act, Arms Act, and Information Technology Act. The court has further remanded the 21 accused to judicial custody till March 25.

According to the chargesheet, the accused Riyaz Bhatkal and his brother Iqbal, the alleged founders of IM, were earlier operatives of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).

After Simi was banned, they formed a terrorist module called the Indian Mujahideen and started recruiting Muslim youth by influencing and indoctrinating them in a systematic and organized manner in the name of Jihad, it stated.
Bhatkal took the accused to Pakistan via Dubai and Bangladesh for receiving terrorist training, the chargesheet further stated. After returning to India, the accused started working under the banner of IM as per the directions of Bhatkal brothers and Amir Raza (another wanted accused in this case) in terrorist activities in various cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, it added.

Mansoor Peerbhoy, head of the "mMedia cell" of IM, had sent emails to media houses minutes before the Ahmedabad and Delhi blasts by hacking into unsecured Wi-Fi networks in the city.

According to the chargesheet, the IM wanted to set up bases in Mumbai and Maharashtra and therefore hired premises (in Sewree Cross Lane, Mumbai) and in Ashoka Mews and Kamaldeep Apartment at Kondhwa (Khurd) in Pune. Regular meetings were held at these premises for planning and carrying out terrorist operations and to harbor their members.

Abu Rashid, Amin Shaikh and Mohammad Khan, the others who are wanted and accused in the case are hiding in Pakistan.

पाकिस्तान ने कसाब के ख़िलाफ़ मामला दर्ज किया - फरवरी 12, 2009

भारत और दुनिया के अन्य देशों की ओर से लगातार बढ़ते जा रहे दबाव के बाद पाकिस्तान ने आखिरकार मुम्बई आतंकवादी हमलों के दौरान जिंदा गिरफ्तार किए गए एकमात्र आतंकी मोहम्मद अजमल कसाब को अपना नागरिक मानते हुए उसके खिलाफ पाकिस्तान में मामला दर्ज किया है।

पाकिस्तान ने आतंकवादी गतिविधियों में संलिप्तता के आरोप में कसाब के अलावा 13 अन्य के खिलाफ भी मुम्बई हमलों के संबंध में प्राथिमिकी (एफआईआर) दर्ज की है। पाकिस्तान ने इसके अतिरिक्त 3 अन्य लोगों को भी कसाब के साथ संबंध रखने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। पाक मीडिया के अनुसार इस सभी को मुम्बई हमलों में सीधे या परोक्ष रूप से शामिल रहने के आरोप में नामजद किया है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि कसाब पर मामला पाकिस्तान की संघीय जांच एजेंसी (एफआईए) की जांच रिपोर्ट सोमवार को पाकिस्तानी रक्षा मामलों की समिति को सौंपे जाने के बाद दर्ज किया गया है। सोमवार को हुई समिति की बैठक के बाद हालांकि पाकिस्तान ने एकबार फिर यही कहा था कि भारत ने उसे ठोस सबूत नहीं सौंपे हैं और इसलिए उसकी जांच अधूरी है तथा जांच पूरी होने पर ही वह भारत को जवाब दे पाएगा।

अब कसाब तथा अन्य 13 पर मामला दर्ज करके पाकिस्तान ने मामले को एक नया ही रुख दे दिया है। पाकिस्तान की इस कार्रवाई से इतना तो जरूर साबित हो गया है कि पाकिस्तान ने अब यह पूरी तरह स्वीकार कर लिया है कि कसाब पाकिस्तानी नागरिक है और मुम्बई हमलों की साजिश के तार गहराई से पाकिस्तान से जुड़े हैं।

Contradictory reports circulated in the Pakistani media Wednesday on Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist captured during the Mumbai mayhem, with one TV channel reporting a case has been registered against him and another channel denying this.

A case has been registered against Kasab and 13 others, Geo TV reported earlier during the day.
Hours later, Dawn News channel quoted Interior Minister Rehman Malik as denying that a case had been registered.

Geo TV said the case was registered on the basis of the probe conducted by Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the decision taken by the defence committee of the cabinet at its meeting in Islamabad Monday.

The case was registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act at the Dockyard Police Station in Karachi, the Geo TV channel added, quoting sources.

"Sources further said that among the others named in the case were three persons who were arrested in Karachi. Nine more persons had been identified but were yet to be taken into custody,"
